The theme of the 20th EECERA Conference is ‘Knowledge and Voice: Who Knows, Who Speaks, Who Listens’ – a theme that flows from the ethical stance of the Association which sets out a democratic commitment to work towards a more equitable sharing of power and voice in the development of early childhood resources, practice and policy.
There are three sections in the menu above where you can go to discuss and debate the key conference themes. Here you’ll find a short article (blog post) on each of the three conference sub-themes (1. Who Knows, 2. Who Speaks, and 3. Who Listens) to stimulate dialogue and comment amongst the EECERA community.
In addition, there are sections of this site which share hints and tips on how to make best use of this online discussion platform as well as a range of other digital networking resources that you might like to use. The ‘social conference’ section is provided to help you organise and access social events and meet ups during the conference. In ‘programme’ the 3 day conference programme is set out and this will be updated daily with any changes and amendments. Finally, all the conference key notes will be made available as videos during the conference for viewing at your leisure!
By participating in the conference through this site we aim to open up to a new world of ongoing dialogue, democratise knowledge generation and provide a space for voices to be shared in an equitable forum. We invite all of the EECERA community near and far to join in, to dialogue and add to the debate.
